La Otra
"A few years ago, I started to write becaus of necessity during a crisis of loneliness and this helped to heal myself. Since that moment, I’ve continued with this habit because the music cleans my wounds". These were the words of La Otra’s presentation when she released her first album 'Pa'fuera y pa'dentro' (2014), after a successful crowdfunding campaign.
More than 6 years after; a second album 'Creciendo' (2018); a hit, "Contigo", which summs more than 7 million views on YouTube and almost 6 million listens on Spotify; and a career that has taken her all over Spain and part of Latin America; this 2021 the artist from Madrid is supporting her third album, in which she remains true to her mantra of "personal is political". ‘Incendio’ is a collection of songs that are not far from her musical beginnings, but that represent a big step in her career: accompanied by a solid band, La Otra brings to her blend new influences ranging from hip-hop and neo-soul to pop and Latin sounds.
