Lia Kali delivers a flawless first-ever Spanish Red Bull Symphonic at the Auditorio Nacional and bids farewell to the stage until 2028 with a venue tour
Madrid, September 23, 2026 · Last night, Madrid's Auditorio Nacional de Música, sold out for weeks and packed to capacity, went from being a legendary stage for symphonic and classical music to becoming the home of the first Spanish edition of the widely acclaimed Red Bull Symphonic event series, a format launched in 2023 that brings together contemporary artists and major symphony orchestras to reinterpret their catalogues, and which has already toured multiple countries, crossing generations, genres and audiences. On its debut south of the Pyrenees, the more than 2,000 people filling the Auditorio, plus the thousands of viewers watching mainly from Spain, Mexico, Chile and Colombia via the artist's YouTube Live Stream, took part in a labyrinthine musical show in which Lia Kali got lost, confronted her own echoes, and ultimately found music — the red thread — as both the way out and the culmination of a unique, unrepeatable show. Backed by a symphony orchestra, her band, and several artists who have been part of her journey, they brought Red Bull Symphonic "La música camina conmigo" to life.
Award-winning composer Lucas Vidal, leading the orchestra, opened the gates to a journey built over months together with Pablo Donaire, the project's musical director. The artist appeared at the top of the staircase to open the show with "Contra todo pronóstico." From there she began physically descending toward the stage as the dancers accompanied every step, launching a narrative that would run through the whole night: entering the labyrinth, the arrival of success, the loss of bearings, facing one's own fears and, finally, finding the way out. A story told through the songs, through a symphony orchestra, but also through the staging, the lighting and the choreography.
A SHARED JOURNEY: FROM FERNANDO COSTA AND ELANE TO KASE.O AND ANTONY Z
As the artist made her way through the labyrinth, she was never alone. Fernando Costa was the first to share the stage with her on "Te conocí bailando." Together they carried on into "Para aguantar," before Elane burst in unannounced on "Falso," a moment that ended with Lia Kali wrapped in a curtain as the music led into the next chapter.
The second act took Red Bull Symphonic into darker territory. On "Peor que la policía," Antony Z turned the artist's inner thoughts into a two-voice conversation, before handing the spotlight back to the orchestra. And then, from atop the staircase, Kase.O appeared flanked by a group of hooded figures to reinterpret "God Damn" as a version of Mozart's Requiem. An unexpected entrance that completely shifted the energy of the Auditorio and gave way to a violin solo with the orchestra taking center stage.
The third act began the search for light. On "Cachito de luz," Zatu, of SFDK, became Lia Kali's companion in that search, while Óscar Sánchez joined the stage with his distinctive guitar-plate to add a new texture to the live set. Then came "Volvernos a amar," one of the night's most intimate moments: Toni Anzis and Salma accompanied the artist on a song about vulnerability, the need for shelter, and the chance to reconnect with oneself. Toni Anzis's closing Spanish-guitar solo left the stage suspended in stillness before the journey headed into its final stretch.

THE FINAL ACT: FROM THE LABYRINTH TO THE LIGHT
The way out began with Lucas Vidal taking up the synthesizer for an interlude that set up the final transformation. When Lia Kali reappeared at the top of the staircase, dressed in red, she was no longer the same artist who had entered the labyrinth. "Me muero," "Chulx" and "Renacer" marked that shift: darkness giving way to transformation, resilience, and the fight against one's own fears, guided by the red thread that has always accompanied her — music.
On "Alzo el vuelo," once again joined by the dancers, the artist began retracing her steps back, and with "Cantaré" came the resolution, the entire audience on its feet singing every line: from her refuge on the staircase, she descended to center stage as the orchestra and band swelled around her. One by one, the collaborators who had joined the journey returned to the stage to surround her in one final collective image, amid an ovation that wouldn't stop. The whole labyrinth ended right there: in the music, on the stage, and in the people who had been part of the journey.
More than a concert, Red Bull Symphonic "La música camina conmigo" was a chance to see what happens when an artist revisits her catalogue through an entirely new lens. That's one of the format's key ideas: it wasn't simply about adding an orchestra to Lia Kali's songs, but about discovering what they could become through a different musical language. An experience created for a single night that will remain part of the artist's journey forever.

THE HOME STRETCH OF 2026 AND A FAREWELL TO THE STAGE UNTIL 2028
With the symphonic labyrinth now behind her and one of the most memorable nights of her career to date under her belt, Lia Kali gets back on the road to face the final stretch of what has probably been the most intense year of her career. The Barcelona artist will cross the Atlantic once again to play Colombia's Festival Altavoz in Medellín from October 10 to 12, before wrapping up 2026 with a venue tour taking her to, among other cities, Sevilla (October 16), Valencia (October 24) and, come December, Madrid, Granada, Córdoba, Santiago de Compostela, Santander and Bilbao (December 19), with two nights in Barcelona at Paral·lel 62 (November 27 and 28) along the way.
After four years of nonstop releases and a string of milestones that has culminated in recent days with her performance at MMVV's Plaça Major, opening two Shakira concerts at the Residencia Madrid leg of the Colombian star's LMYNL World Tour 2026, and yesterday's first-ever Spanish Red Bull Symphonic at the Auditorio Nacional, the girl from Carmel is getting ready to pull the plug on live shows. So this final run of dates will be the last chance to catch her live magic for a long, long time!
